These are the 19 most common questions that potential rentals have before making their reservation.
Rental Duration
How long can I make a reservation for?
We allow Reservations to be as small as 7 days, up to 28 days.
What if I need more time on my reservation?
If you find yourself in a situation where your repairs were more complex than planned, let us know, and we can work together on getting you more time. The first thing we suggest is to check the website and see if the tool has the time available.
Common Problems
What do I do if I lose the protective tool case?
Let us know if the case was misplaced so we can get a new one sent to you for return shipping. You will be responsible for the replacement case, and shipping costs associated with the order.
What do I do if the tool is damaged or stolen?
We hope this never happens, but if it does happen to you, please notify us immediately and we can look at options. Our first priority is to get you back in the sky, and we will want to see if we have a backup tool that we can send you to complete your repairs. if a tool is damaged or stolen, you are responsible for the tool to be replaced.
Payment Questions
How much is the deposit for a rental?
The Deposit for all of our rentals is 50% of the rental price. No matter how long you rent it for, it will only be 50% of the rental price.
When is the final payment due?
The final payment is due 7 days before the reservation start date.
How do I make the final payment?
To make your final payment, simply navigate to the MY ACCOUNT page. There is a section for making payments on your rentals there.
What happens if I forget to make the final payment?
If you forget to make the final payment, we will try to get in contact with you via email and phone that was used when making the reservation. We will not ship any tools if the final payment is not paid.
Cancellations & Refunds
How do I cancel my reservation?
We allow cancellations as long as they are requested prior to the reservation start date, and if the rental tool has not been shipped yet. Simply call us at 850-466-3191, email us at Sales@AVBOXUS.com, or fill out a CONTACT FORM and we can process that cancellation. There is no penalty for canceling a reservation if the request is approved.
If returned early, do I get a partial refund?
No, there is no refund if the tool is returned earlier than the agreed rental period end date.
Do I get a refund of my deposit after I return the tool?
No, the deposit that is made when making the reservation directly goes towards the full amount of the rental cost. There is no refund after the tool has been returned.
Rental Agreement
Do I need to sign anything to reserve a tool?
Yes, with every reservation, we require a signed rental agreement. This is to protect the renter and AVBOX US in the event that something happens.
How do I sign the Rental Agreement?
Once the deposit is made, we will email you an E-sign document for you to sign on Computer, or a mobile device.
How do I send the Rental agreement back to you?
The reason we use E-Sign Documents is for the convenience. Once you have signed the document, you simply click submit and it sends us the signed document.
What if I forget to sign the Rental Agreement?
if you forget, we will try and reach out via email and phone used when making the reservation, to get it signed. We do not ship any tools until the rental agreement is signed.
Shipping Questions
Can I have the rental tool shipped to me?
Yes, we allow all of our products, from hardware, parts, new tools and our rental tools to be shipped to all 50 states or picked up at our store, located at 10370 Pensacola Blvd, Pensacola Florida, 32534.
What do I need to do before returning the tool?
All you need to do when returning the tool is wipe it off with a paper towel and place it back in the storage container. We will clean and inspect the tool when we receive it.
When does the tool ship to me?
Once the rental agreement is signed, and the final payment has been made, we will ship the tool out according to your selected shipping option.
For ground shipping, we would like to ship it out 5-7 days before the reservation start date to ensure it arrives on time.
Do I have to pay for shipping when returning the tool?
Yes, when it is time to return the tool, simply pack it back up, and take it to your desired shipping company. You are responsible for the shipping charges associated with returning the tool. Once you have arranged shipping, provide the tracking information to us.
